I have defended and prosecuted cases at the Superior Court trial level in Pierce, King, Mason and Kitsap counties and at the Court of Appeals. I have been particularly successful in obtaining court decisions by pre-trial motions, thereby allowing my clients to avoid all or a portion of the risks and costs associated with going to trial. The success is due in large part to my practice of providing clients honest and clear answers about the risks and likelihood of success in litigation. I refuse to encourage clients to proceed with litigation if the likelihood of success is poor. Success is more than simply obtaining an order or judgment in the client's favor; it is also the ability to recover payment whether it be for attorney fees, costs or damages. Winning a case but failing to recover payment is considered a loss by most clients. So, while I aggressively prosecute claims on behalf of my clients I do not encourage my clients to throw good money after bad on weak claims.
My practice includes:
Real Estate Litigation
Real Estate Transaction
Plaintiff’s Claims (contingency and hourly)
Construction Agreements and Disputes
Business Agreements and Disputes
Estate Planning and Estate Disputes
